JEWELLERY WARRANTY AGAINST DEFECTS

All Nomination jewellery comes with an internationally recognised 2-year guarantee that covers manufacturing defects.

Timesupply (Nomination AU and NZ distributor) will at our option, repair or replace, jewellery proven by our jewellers to be defective due to the manufacturing process within 24 months after the date of purchase. This warranty is offered in Australia and New Zealand and may differ in other international markets.

JEWELLERY WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The warranty against defects does not cover loss, damage, breakage, changes in appearance, kinks, or the gradual degradation of all or part of the goods due to normal wear, mishap, careless handling or improper use. Tarnishing occurs naturally and therefore, cleaning is not covered by the warranty. Loss of colour due to improper use is not considered a manufacturing defect.

MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM

A warranty/guarantee certificate is supplied - dated and stamped and placed together with the item inside our signature packaging. In order to take advantage of the guarantee, you must present both the receipt/invoice showing the date of purchase and the guarantee certificate, which has been dated and stamped with Authorised Retailer. Please retain your receipt/invoice or pass it on to the gift recipient.

How to make a warranty claim:

Customers will need to return item to Timesupply if purchased online, or if purchased from an Authorised Reseller - take your jewellery and proof of purchase to the place of purchase.  If you are unable to take your jewellery to the place of purchase you may be charged transport and postage costs by the retailer. If the retailer and Timesupply (Nomination AU and NZ distributor) are satisfied that the warranty claim is valid the retailer will at its option arrange for the repair or replacement of the jewellery. The retailer will advise the customer of repair options (if any) and the retailer’s charges in the event that the warranty claim is not accepted.

Australian Consumer Law

The warranty against defects provides benefits in addition to the rights and remedies to which you are entitled under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. [Note: “major failure” has a specific meaning under the Australian Consumer Law.]
